Art History Around Town
“Art should be something like a good armchair in which to rest from physical fatigue.”
Art History Around Town invites students and families to experience the vibrant artistic and cultural landscape of South Florida—beyond the classroom and into the world.
Through thoughtfully curated field trips to museums, murals, historical sites, and special exhibitions, we explore the people, places, and stories that shape our region’s creative spirit. Whether we’re admiring public art in a park or stepping inside a gallery for a guided tour, each outing offers hands-on learning, meaningful dialogue, and playful exploration rooted in the history of art and place.
We also love spotlighting amazing cultural events around our city!
🎉 Check out the calendar below to discover upcoming AHP field trips, family workshops, festivals, and other community happenings we love to share.
